Is HDMI going to be sharper than D cable? It looks like it but......

Even after calibrating with blue ray disks, HDMI still looks washed out. It seems D cable gives me better black levels.

D cable is used in Japan. Its component. Maybe its like scart?

Technologically speaking, HDMI should look better since HDMI is digital and D-Terminal is analog.

However, video quality is subjective so you should go with what looks best to you.
