Hello board, I picked up a PS3 a few days ago and my overall impression is pretty good. The PS3 is still under construction. The 360 is a finished product. Hopefully by X-mas the PS3 will be done. I bought U2s Rattle and Hum and the Blu Ray works great. No freezing yet. Motorstorm is incredible and Rise fall of man is great also. I bought the NBA 07 bundle and for some reason this game keeps crashing while loading and locking up the PS3. I tried 3 different copies from Target and still no luck. I called Sony and they almost hinted that the game sucks. Anybody here have any similar problems with a PS3 game? This weekend has almost been like dealing with those old windows games with all the driver updates. So far the XBOX wins. Atleast as a game console.

The NBA 07 demo does the same thing to me , loads to black screen (after the NBA07 logo) and then it locks up the PS3 . I just deleted the demo and actually it is pretty bad anyway so no real loss there . I would just sell the game or trade it in for NBA 2K7 .

This issue was discussed on here a couple of months ago. You had to go into the audio settings and uncheck the pcm settings over 5.1. You will have to re-download the game, it should then play. If you want a quick reveiw, you can only play as Miami and Dallas.

Thanks 49 I got the game to go. You would think the folks at Sony would have had that fix in their notes so when people call they can be informed of the glitch. The game looks great on my XBR2.
