XMB might change or evolve, but I would bet Sony isn't going to force Home on people.

They won't get rid of the XMB. They already use it on the PSP, and they have a new line of receivers coming out that uses the XMB interface. If anything, we'll start to see it on more Sony products.

they better not force us to use home or they will have some pissed off people. Home should only be an addition and nothing more. Sony need to work on XMB to make it easier and more advanced at the same time. I wish they would focus on that before the Home feature.

The more I read about it the more I like the idea of "Home"! I hope they make their online experience better suited for users. I won't complain because you get what you pay for.

I hope you are right, because the people that won't use Home are going to have A LOT of issues using the PS3, especially when you compare it to XBL. There is just not enough interaction between the XMB, friends list, games, etc. for online play.
