After looming here for the past few weeks and reading hundreds of posts I am almost ready to buy my first projector and screen.
Room:
Will be 16' x 22 feet. The wall for the screen will accommodate a screen size of about 92" (16:9).
There will be light control but there will also be some ambient light at times since it will be a multipurpose room and not just dedicated for HT use.
PJ will be mounted from the ceiling about 13' away.
Seating will also be around 13'.

I am looking at Pearl - Epson and JVC. I have only been able to view the Pearl on two different occasions. The first time it looked great but the second viewing at a different location looked awful (it was playing some cable channel at Best Buy).

I'll be getting a Stewart fixed screen. Once I figure out which PJ to go with I will contact Stewart thru my dealer and have them recommend a screen material.

It sounds like the new JVC is the PJ of choice in this price range. Has anyone been able to compare it to the new Epson?

Looking forward to your comments as I doubt I will ever be able to view these PJ side by side before I am ready to buy one.
