I am looking for some suggestions on what model would be the best video switcher/upconvertor. I need to hook up a HD-DVD, HD Set top box, DVD, PS2, XBOX 360, and my PC. I would like to only have one cable going to the projector ( or two ), and have the ability to handle up to a 1080p signal. Can anyone point me in the right direction to do some homework in this regard.

I really don't want to have to spend $2,000 on one. I also have not yet purchased my projector, and have seen a couple of models that come with the switching box.

Any help would be appreciated, also please let me know if I have missed any info at all to make a good decision.

The DVDO VP30 or VP20 are at good prices and would handle your equipment nicely..
