I am thinking about three projectors. Optoma HD70, MITS HD1000u or Pannys pt-ae900u. I know the 900u is lcd but it does have lens shift. The others dont and I know that the mits is the hardest to aim and shoot. I have a basement room with a soffit running down the lenght of the theater. Its 12 inches from the ceiling. I would have to mount the top of the screen below the soffit. Then the projecter would basically be beside the soffit. I am wondering will the beam of the projector hit the side fo the soffit if its only about a foot or two lateral to the soffit.
