There are some big new releases that are Blu-Ray exclusive in the US such as Rocky Balboa, Night At the Museum, Live Free or Die Hard, Little Miss Sunshine, X-Men: The Last Stand & Eragon (though I heard both stunk). All these titles are distributed in Switzerland by Fox-Warner according to imdb.com. Does this mean that they could possibly be released on HD-DVD in that country? I already own Total Recall & Harry Potter, with T2 pre-ordered through xploitedcinema, and i would LOVE to be able to grab these as well. Anybody know if this is possible?
I just now that, for instance, Fight Club is not distributed by Fox, but by a local one called "Medaria".
But I do certainly know that X-Men 3 was released by Fox.
I don't know whether imdb.com is well informed in that concern.
EDIT: "The Negotiator" is also by Medaria.
Mr. & Mrs. Smith is Fox in the USA, but PlazaVista Entertainment in Switzerland. Same applies to "The Sentinel", "Date Movie", "Elektra".
But who knows whether they're going to support HD-DVD.
Here's a list of the movies they own the rights for Switzerland:

I appreciate the info. It just seemed like some of those movies might be released by Warner in Switzerland, but perhaps they were just co-distributors for the theatrical releases. I don't know if Warner has anything to do with their video release. I enjoy having more options for some new titles without being subjected to Sony's BS political game.
