I've added new custom buttons to my keypad on my satelite section of my MX-3000. They are in PNG format like most of my other graphics but for some reason these buttons are sooooo slow when you click them. Like 3 or more seconds before they perform the operation. It is using a simply present command no macro. Any ideas why this would be happening? I have several other custom graphics including a main screen and much much more but these buttons are just horribly slow. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I have attached the button in the thread.

have you tried creating a new page with one or two of the buttons tied to commands just to see if you have the same problem on a clean page? I don't have the MX Editor software on this computer that I'm on now but I have run into problems on some of the touch screen programming software where I found that I inadvertently had buttons layered on top of each other and this was causing major confusion and delay. just a thought... good luck
That is exactly what I'm doing now. I think that my buttons are overlapping even though they do not appear to because of transparency. I am going to test this out and I'll let you know. I really appreciate the help. I was getting very frustrated.
Thanks

Do your backgrounds also have PNG transparency? If so, you might try flattening them out and seeing if this improves performance.
My backgrounds did yes but I flattened them into jpeg and just created multiple background types with windows preset in the background instead of adding a transparent frame to the transparent background etc... I'm seeing more and more that the problem was I'm designing these things like its running on a powerful PC not a handheld with a small CPU. I'm going to run some test tonight to see if this solves the problem. I'll post an update. With pictures.
Well that was it. I had buttons overlapping which was causing the huge speed issues. I appreciate the heads up and I now know that you must keep them apart. I'll post some pics later. Thanks again.

That is an awesome button!
How and what did you use to create a coll button like that?
I am new the MX-3000 and love it. I would like to make some small customs buttons so that I can fit more on a single page.

Get some screen shots of your custom remote...or better yet...post the .rcc file.
That is if you don't mind.
