I was online last night to troubleshoot my freezing issue... No issues again... 2 good sessions in a row-so far so good.. I was in a race on Raingod Mesa and while all the vehicles were sitting there right when the countdown timer came on cars started flying off to the left ...hundreds of feet in the air. I was in a racing truck and I was rolled over and disabled. The race starts and I am disabled for a few seconds. It seemed like the light cars were the ones flying into the air and the heavy ones were being disabled. I thought it was a clitch or something. So the next race...same track...mostly same people I think... the same thing happens again. Cars flying off into the air...trucks disabled...race starts. I don't know much about this stuff...But to me this is cheating right!!! I did come in 3rd both races... even though I was disabled for a few seconds...I should have noted who was in the race and who won...Maybe we can catch the freakin pr*ck(s) and report them. So keep your eyes out if you play Motorstorm online

I saw this happen once or twice. I wouldn't worry about it until it happens a few times a day.

At the start of the race before the light hits green quickly press up up down down left right b a select start. You'll know you did it right because you'll hear a chime and be transported back to the late 80's. Good news about that? No online cheaters.

Its probably just the network code going haywire, unless it was the same guys winning every round I wouldn't worry too much about it.

I saw it once, just seem liked a glith. I respawned inside a boulder 5 straight times too, I think it's just bad luck/code.

I thought this post on GameFAQs about a potential cheater was pretty funny (if true):
This [dude] was completely cheating that I just raced against, [didn't] catch his name sadly.

He picked a big rig and his car kept warping backwards and spinning in circles at the same time...which made anyone near him get smashed by his car and explode. His vehicle would warp backwards while spinning, but then warp like 3 times foward so that he would keep getting ahead while taking out any vehicles behind him. Even at the starting line, his car was doing, I was 2 cars behind him and it smashed me and the guy in front of me right at the start and knocked us back.

[what] is that? Lamest thing I've ever seen, he was far ahead of anyone. Even if his car didn't hit any of us, he still would of won because he kept warping so far ahead.

I don't think it was lag. We all started crashing before the start of the race. I thought it was funny myself. It's nothing I'm worried about... yet...

I seen that last night. I need that code, lol. I want to try it with a motorcycle.

Looks like some people played Contra way too much!!! That's o.k. I know quite a few people who know that code also. Me....I can't remember anything from last week!!!

About last night.... I posted this morning and was still half asleep when I posted since I was up so late. Someone was definitely manipulating these 2 races. I could not believe it the first time but after it happened again with the same people in the race I new something was up. I know the partial psn names of the people who won and came in second those 2 races and would recognize the names if someone told them to me and stated the same thing happened to them with these psn names. So if you are racing online and notice this stuff happening write down some names in the race and pm me. It's not a big deal to me.... As long as this does not become a everyday occurance.

Thaat doesn't sound like someone was cheating. That sounds more like a bug/lag combination.
