View Full Version : What brand are these chairs? Colton 03-13-07, 11:08 AM http://i26.photobucket.com/albums/c142/sacolton/chairs.jpg What brand do these look like? vili 03-13-07, 11:19 AM I am no expert in the home theater seating but they don't look like any other brand I've seen before. Can you give us any more information on the add...like what store is selling them? KenLerch 03-13-07, 11:23 AM They look like Coaster Showtime's to me. -Ken Colton 03-13-07, 11:33 AM Mathis Brothers in Oklahoma City, OK. I didn't want to include that because I don't want to spam the forum to suggest I'm advertising or connected with this business. vili 03-13-07, 12:05 PM I would go with Ken's choice as I am mainly familiar with Berklines. KenLerch 03-13-07, 02:06 PM They're definitely Showtime's after looking at the photo more closely. That's a great deal if they have them available. I've attached a better photo so you can see them. They've cropped and reversed this same photo for the ad. Colton 03-13-07, 04:10 PM What's the difference between these and the Berkline 090s? Can these have bass shakers in them? How much room is needed from wall to do a full recline with Showtime's chairs? Can the chairs be motorized? In your opinion, which is better ... Showtime's or Berklines? bqmeister 03-13-07, 04:13 PM I've got these. Paid more than that for them. Love them. Mine might be slightly different, but not positive. They are a great value. Colton 03-13-07, 04:14 PM I just noticed I can't get them in a loveseat configuration (2 chairs). Why is that? Just got off the phone with Mathis Brothers and was told these chairs can't be configured in a 2-chair loveseat. Three chairs is the minimum. That won't work for me. :( Oh well. bqmeister 03-13-07, 04:52 PM Can they not be configured in 2 seat configuration or they won't sell only a 2 seat version? The way this model is put together, the armrests between each chair is required. You could probably remove the middle chair and one middle armrest and have 2 seats together though. ohbrian 03-13-07, 05:08 PM They can be configured with 2 seats I've done it to mine. Just remove the center section which is one seat with a right armrest. After I moved and figured out 101 inches or whatever was too big I took out one piece and left 2 of them. Don't need much room from the wall to recline them because they kind of slide forward. Now I have to get rid of the whole thing because my chick hates them because she can't get closer to me. Sigh. That's why I bought them :D |
