Do you guys want to get into this beta like I do? I am just waiting for the beta site to go live so I can sign up!

Right now, I do not even use my Xbox 360 or Wii...i mostly play the PS3...using Motorstorm or Resistance....and Tekken 5...I wish i could play other players online with Tekken 5...oh well maybe Tekken 6...

15000 people in the closed PS3 HOME beta is not that many...so it is going to be hard to get in...but i am gonna try...

There's a website that you will be able to put your name in the Sony HOME beta test pool, but I don't have that info offhand. There are a few posts in archive with that info.

Or tripjammer probably has it bookmarked or committed to memory.

15k is a small number, hopefully I will get in

They may give the people on the GAP the chance to take the first seats with the Home Beta. Since they are fimilar with the beta process and reporting aspects of beta testing. I just signed up for the Beta test for Killzone online for the PSP.

Only 5000 people were in the first round of Xbox Live Beta testing, then slowly they started adding more groups at about 1000 per week. I got in there with no problems, hopefully I can do the same with Home, and this time it won't cost me $50.

I'm on the GAP with Playstation as well. I've beta'd a ton of games so I for one hope us GAP members get first crack at it, lol.

I've been in GAP for 1 year and 17 weeks and haven't had the chance to do beta testing yet.

I'm a G.A.P. member. I've beta tested a few games, mostly for the PSP. I hope I'm chosen as well.

GAP is Sony Gamer Advisory Panel. You need to be invited into it by Sony. Back in the Playstation Underground days if you filled out the card and sent it in, you may have been invited.

I forgot to add, being a GAP member gives you some special privileges like beta testing games and working Sony booths at local events.

It's still invitation only. It helps if you go to us.playstation.com and fill out a profile listing what PS equipment you have and what SCE games you have. That helps determine who Sony invites.

Like NDSKYZ said, register your hardware and software. For the hardware you will need your bar code number and purchase date and for software your will need the BCUS number on the binder of the package.
