Anyone has any idea when this masterpiece is coming to HD-DVD or Blu-Ray?

I don't remember who controls the home video release, but if its Universal I'd bet they're saving it for Q4.

Gladiator is a Dreamworks production so it comes out when Spielberg and Paramount says it does.

With Crowe . After checking with my extended edition, this is a Universal and Dreamworks release.

universal has the overseas rights. Dreamworks (distrib. by paramount) here

First movie I ever watched on my two year old AE700. I think it was around March 11th, 2005. I will always remember firing up my first HD projector and watching Gladiator (on HD cable) with the image on the wall between my left front speaker and my old 32" CRT that I hadn't moved out of the way yet. What a great night it was.

Dreamworks is not releasing anything on HD discs yet (BD or HD DVD). I'm sure it will be soon after they start releasing.
