Do they make a cheap rack catered to the smallish dimensions of a Blu Ray case?

I have a few plastic racks made for DVD storage but Blu Ray cases are to small to fit in them properly (at all, actually) and I'd rather not have them just sitting around on my shelf.

I'm in the same boat you are dude. What's worse is that the Sony, Disney and Lionsgate titles use the thinner cases, and Fox, Paramount and Warner use the fatter cases.

That's just stupidity, hopefully that won't become a standard.

Are you sure it's not just for earlier/certain titles or something?

I don't have very many titles.... but I'm holding a Crank case (Lionsgate,) a The Wild case (Disney,) a MI III case (Paramount,) and a Prestige case (Warner) and they're all the exact same size, unless we're talking about a difference that is barely visible to the naked eye.

Either way, I wonder if anyone makes a reasonably priced rack for this type of case, it has been several months since the format's inception after all. Maybe the current demand doesn't warrant a supply in the eyes of whoever makes those kinds of things.

That's why I have a nice wood bookcase with adjustable shelves. Works great for all kinds of media and matches my other furniture too. Just a thought.

I have been trying to find the same thing. Just not having much luck.

I actually have the same... but it's so full there's very little space left available (it's full of about 500+ DVD's.)

I have no space for another huge, stand-up bookshelf type of media case.

I do have about 12 inches of free space above that main media case so I was just going to buy a few smallish racks to put on top of the case. It probably won't look the greatest....but it's either that or start pulling DVD's out to make space for Blu Ray cases (and that's something I'd rather not do.)

I got two different ones from Best Buy (one a year ago and one a couple months ago) and they both seem to work fine for BR cases... they both have adjustable racks (build it yourself).

They don't have individual slots for cases (do people actually like the racks that have those?), it's just a bookshelf style movie case, but it works fine. It shouldn't be too difficult to find something that works -- go to an electronic store.
