Hi all,
I'm interested in buying some home theater seats and have been at a few showrooms where I sampled the Berkline 990 and the Lane 'Hollywood'. The 990 back rest seemed to low. I'm also interested in the Berkline X194, 90, and 91. Is there any clear cut difference in quality b/w Lane and Berkline? I was at a showroom where the salesperson was adamant about not buying a Berkline because of quality issues. Has anyone had problems w/there HT seats?
TIA

Im sure the showroom you went to only sold Lane products. I personally think they are both great products, but I prefer Berkline the most. To me they provide the most bang for the buck. Berkline is known for having some of the best service and warranty for the products in the industry.

Actually they did sell both but not in the HT seats. Thanks for your input.

My wife and I sat in a couple of different berklines and the lane hollywood. We felt that the lane chairs were much more comfortable and sturdy so we bought 8 hollywood chairs.

Everyone who comes to the house says that they are the most comfortable chairs they have ever sat in.
