Hey guys can I watch regular cable through my HD Receiver?
I have a US Digital HDTV Receiver.

I had the Samsung DTB, the latest (black) one, and I plugged the cable from the wall, to the receiver, and it worked, I could watch regular basic cable (without the HD).

However, with the US Digital one, I can't do it. I have version 2.5 on the firmware. Now I can use the antenna for OTA HD channels, but when I plug the cable to the wall, I can't receive any channels.

Is it just this US Digital box, or is it just me doing it incorretly?

Thank you.

Many digital STBs (especially the cheaper ones) do not tune analog stations.

The Samsung can receive both OTA digital (ATSC) channels, and unencrypted digital cable (QAM) channels. The US Digital can receive only ATSC (and not QAM).
