SD on WDCA in Washington and (as always) WUTB in Baltimore.

I can't figure out what is going on with WDCA-DT 20 in DC. Every time I checked this week, they have been in SD, including the movies and the new telenovel soap series. WDCA is a Fox owned station, you think they would care about presenting My Network properly? I guess not.

As for WUTB-DT 24 in Baltimore, they are now sending out a 720p HD signal, although it appears so far they are sending out upconverted SD only. Someday they will step up from their very low STA power of 550 watts (!) on UHF and another small step will be taken to all full power digital stations.

Hopefully this and the fact that Comcast will add the signal on 3/26 mean that they will start showing HD.

We know that a cheap family owns WJLA ABC 7, but FOX5 is O&O and still no HD movies on Movie Nights. Maybe because they upgrading their news to HD soon, as the rumors say.
