This is way off topic but how about an exception on the day of all days.

I really should be in the pub by now. Anyway a quick history, Patrick was actually from Wales and I forget who kidnapped him and sold him as a slave in Ireland. He eventually got his freedom and started a monastery (I think)(outside Of Ireland). I should be shot for forgetting. He returned to Ireland to bring it out of the dark ages and Ireland became "The Island of Saints and Scholars." Legend has it that he banished all snakes from Ireland 'cos there are none.

I'm quite a bit Irish, even though my last name's Scottish.
