I've spend about two days now trying with get My Powerbook G4 to display correctly on my Mitsubishi WD62628 DLP. I'm doing this as proof of concept before I get a dedicated Mac mini for the HTPC role.
Using SwitchRez x, I've managed to display 1280 x 768P, but with large black borders along the edges. Using expand on the remote I can get it to fill the screen. The mits displays 720P mode.
I've also got the Mits to sync into 1080i mode but the Mac desktop only displays in a very small area in the center of the screen.
I've been searching through the forums and seen some threads that indicate that some have managed to drive the Mits in 1080i and 1080p through the HDMI1 or HDMI2 inputs.
Does anyone has some suggestions on where I can find the proper settings to set in SwitchRez to get proper 1080i or 1080p?
