lol, playable in PS3 systems huh? That's like when the PS2 launched and you saw movies say "PS2 compatible". I guess there's a need for it though so whatever. Let us know what you think of the A/V and any extras.

Yes and i see no artifacts at all. Also using AVC.

I have a feeling that this title will get 5 stars across the board from many reviewers, given that it should be a direct to digital transfer :) .

I know you can't judge anything by a screen shot, but ouch! That bell tower is ringing... and not in a good way. Is there that much edge enhancement for the full feature or just the menu (or an artifact of digital camera).

I would say me or the camera because there is no EE.

Chicken Little doesn't need a lot of bitrate. The 1080i cable version comes in at a whopping 5gb and looks fabulous. It just doesn't have the detail and color depth to require much.

you know, i never used to get excited about DVD covers, but for some reason, seeing blu-ray disc covers just is that much better than old dvd....

If you have a ps3 you hit the sleect button on the siaxaxis controller.

Another side note they have a 1080p game kinda like space invaders.

I would say its on par with those .

The Audio is 48 khz/16 bit.

I saw this and Finding Neverland out early at Wal Mart on Saturday. Didn't pick up, either, but I'll probably get Chicken Little down the road.. it easily had the most pop I can recall from the old demo.

I caught Chicken Little when is was on CinemaxHD recently and I couldn't watch it, it was so overly compressed it was a mess. Especially on any scenes involving movement, tons of macroblocking. I am looking foward to seeing this on Blu-ray, Amazon is shipping it out soon.

It's a BD-Java game...one reason why I'm getting the title...i'm sure it'll be lame like the Speed game, but you never know....

The title also has an "interactive" Q&A with the director, also BD-J based...

Yeah while I wasn't as impressed with it overall as I was with Monster House it is definitely a quality release. I thought the movie was decent as well and can't really understand all the hate for it. To each his/her own though.

It had a good storyline...better than open season i thought, and less dark and more enjoyable than monster house....the "runt" is funny as well, and getting to see the directors line on it was very informative and got me to appreciate it more...

That said, cars was a better animated titles no doubt, and I'm definitely looking forward to that title after seeing how much disney is putting into its releases....

Watching it last night and am satisfied with PQ/AQ

I rate the recent animated releases by whether or not I fall asleep watching it.

I fell asleep in the theatre watching Happily N'ever After and Flushed Away - I was awake for CL since it kept me entertained.

I chuckled at the references to "It's too late" and "I will survive" in this movie. The "hollywood version of events" used "No mountain high enough".

It's too bad the actual songs were not part of the background music for the first two songs, but perhaps that would be too cheesy. :)

I have to say again, I like this type of animation much more than that other one from the ecology-fringe masquerading as a children movie --- I can understand the need to discuss the ecology and political topics and deal with them seriously, but they should be dealt with by adults. I object to submarined propaganda targeted at very young children --- that other movie is morally wrong at so many levels I don't know where to start.

It's not "great", but it certainly is ok and a fairly imaginative game for a market that just is getting started....you have to compare it to the "Speed" features to see what I mean. "Speed" was released only 5 months ago and the gap is pretty big in terms of quality.

As to cellphones, some are starting to have SVG capabilities and the and this means some really fantastic UI interfaces are coming out soon....
