Are there going to be maps for the post transition era?

Thanks,

Chuck

There are pre- and post-transition maps available in the downloadable Google Earth coverage maps section (http://www.tvfool.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=15). Pick the right torrent to begin your download and you'll have the pre- or post-transition maps you want. The "online" maps only offer current maps and do not provide a way to view post-transition maps right now.

Best regards,
Andy

Just FYI, a new collection of Google Earth (kmz) files are available for download.

Thanks. What does "Pending" mean? Applied for, but not yet granted? I assume "current" means actively in-use(?).

A few sentences on your web page would be helpful, as someone without a broadcast background would not understand the difference.

Oops. Forgot to mention here that Canadian metros have been added to the list of available Google Earth packages, in case you hadn't noticed already. This includes transmitter data from the Industry Canada database rather than the FCC database for Canadian transmitters, so now it should be pretty accurate for transmitters on both sides of the border.

The latest Google Earth coverage maps have just been posted. For the complete list of metros, look here (http://www.tvfool.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=15&Itemid=41).
