'Blood and Chocolate,' 'Catch and Release,' 'Stomp the Yard' And 'Curse of the Golden Flower' Blu-ray Bound
March 19, 2007

Sony Pictures Home Entertainment has four new Blu-ray Disc titles on the way, but only one has been formally announced.

'Catch and Release' starring Jennifer Garner is expected to be available May 8, while 'Stomp The Yard' should arrive a week later on May 15 with the honor of being the first Sony Blu-ray title to include Dolby TrueHD lossless audio. 'Curse of the Golden Flower' is also in the works with an as-of-yet determined release date.

'Blood and Chocolate,' officially announced today, will be available May 29 with deleted scenes and a director's commentary. It will be presented in widescreen 1080p video and PCM 5.1 audio and carry an SRP of $38.96.

I'll be picking up Curse of The Golden Flower to be sure. I was waiting for this announcement

No WAY March, look for it......... I would say late May or perhaps early June.
I would bet late May though, dpags.

Thanks for the info. It was getting hard for me to pass up the DVD without knowing a BD was in the works.

It wasn't saying March... it was saying that today (March) was when the story was posted.

Yeah, but on some previous thread on this forum nyg was hoping that this would be released on the same date in March as the DVD and I didn’t want to raise his hopes……………..

B.T.W. by “shot on a strict budget”, I was not necessarily referring to just the original cinematography........I was referring to the whole process, it's just slang.
