Hi,
I did some search, but couldn't find anything. My new house is under construction. I'm wondering if there is a way to avoid having 5+ satellite receivers in every room where I will have a TV.

I'm thinking to get those wireless transponder, but the image quality is really bad. Is it practical to pre-wire some component, DVI or even S-video cables for those rooms for later use. It's a pretty big house about 4300 sqft. on the first 2 levels.

what other options do I have?

Thanks

I feed my HiDef TiVos to 3 different HDTV monitors via inexpensive component video distribution amps like this one...

We have 2 Directivos and a DVD player hooked up to a channelplus modulator:

http://www.channelplus.com/product_detail.php?productId=101

The modulator feeds all 7 TV's in the house, so that you can watch either tivo or the DVD player from any room that has a TV.

We purchased a couple of extra tivo remotes that can operate two seperate units (scroll down on the link):

http://www.tivo.com/2.7.1.asp

We upgraded all of the remotes with RF converters:

Now, we can control both directivos from any room in the house and watch them on any TV.

PS. We had to have 5 runs to the living room to do this (4 for the Directivo's and 1 for the modulator). The extra line from the modulator runs back to a central box where a splitter then sends the signal to all the other rooms.
