Ok, here's the deal...

I have a 2005 Chevy Colorado LS Four Door pick up truck.

I bought a three piece drop down Icon-TV DVD player.
It came with an invisible eye, an FM Modulator, the actual DVD unit (which I'm mounting in my center console) and the drop down screen (mounted where the old dome light used to be).

I'm having a few problems but I'll just start you out with the only one I have some control over for the time being...

1. The wire for the old dome light is two prong.... but the wire for the new dome lights (which are part of the casing of the drop down screen) are four prong. Is there an adapter I can get for this? If so, where would I get such an adapter?

Many thanks,

Sykora

The manual that came with your unit should tell you what each of the prongs (you should have a plug that plugs into and out come some wires) is for. With the 2 in your car, one is power and one is ground (the ground is the switched on/off usually - when you open your doors, etc). So you figure out where it goes on yours. There is probably not going to be an adapter, just splice and solder (not really that difficult - if you've never done it before, just ask).

Thanks, had I just had the dude splice the wires together and hardwire it in.

Finally! I got my rims today AND Eric at C&M (the only guy I trust down there) fixed teedle-dee and teedle-dums mistakes and my DVD player seems to be now fully functional in the Colorado! I haven't messed with it too much yet, but I have audio through the FM Modulator so it comes out my truck speakers and the LCD looks like it's working great with the video!

I still need to test the "remote eye" thing and try out the wireless headphones but I'll do that tomorrow. He also needs to find his dremel cutting tool thing to mount the DVD player in right inside my center console,it's just kind of sitting in there at the moment, but at least everything is working now!
