I’ve seen that a few people are having subtitle issues with the Oppo 970HD, but I didn’t see this specific issue in the FAQ/Brain Dump.

I’ve done the recent firmware update and the component hack, and I’m using the Oppo with my Sanyo Z2 projector. I popped in my Region 2 version of Pan’s Labyrinth and I noticed that the player only shows part of the subtitles. It will only show the first few words of the sentence and then cut off.

Also, the menu markers don’t show, which means there’s no way to tell what you're highlighting (play, features, setup, etc.).

I checked Oppo’s site, but I didn’t see anything about this. Has anyone seen or heard about this?
