I have a 5 1/2 year old Infinity sub Interlude 120s. It quit working after about 3 years and I had it repaired by Ultimate Electronics under warranty. It has now quit working again. The light on the front goes from green to red when I turn on the system (fed by a Denon AV 3802) but there is no sound. I have tried all of the system setting options and there is nothing.

I don't want to pay for another sub without trying to see if this can be fixed. Since it is now out of warranty, I have a friend who does electronic repair and has a studio. He said he would take a look at it if I can come up with the schematic diagram for the IL 120s.

Does anyone have an idea where I can come up with this? I tried the Infinifty web site and they only have the user manual online.

Its actually on harman's website, which is down at the moment. You can buy the manual, from about a dozen scammers out there eager to make money off the free manuals they themselves got, but I would recommend you just wait till harman kardons website is back up, it shouldn't take too long. infinities was down for a whole week once.

Does it immediately go to red, or does it take a moment?

Have you tried using the speaker inputs?

Sounds like it may be going into sleep mode, i wonder if there is a way to turn sleep mode off.

The light stays green and there is nothing coming out. I have not yet tried using the speaker inputs. I'll see how that works.
