There are a lot of these out there. The big differences are what they use to stuff them with. Almost all of them are fairly comfortable, but if you find a nicer one they are decidedly moreso. Love sac are probably among the nicest, they use furniture grade cushioning and shred it. Others use fluffier material but it isn't quite as soft, doesn't keep its shape quite as well, and doesn't regain its shape as quickly. I got what I consider to be a fantastic deal on a black velvet "offbrand". I would have preferred a more expensive bag but I decided they weren't very cost effective for rarely used seating. I was perfectly happy with the one I got. I have a loveseat on a riser, a couch in front of that and the 6' bag in front of that (front row seating). I think they are great for kids and good for overflow seating but I don't know if I would recommend replacing couches or theater seating with them.

I've got a 5' "movie sac" lovesac and i love it. Very durable, it feels the same since the day i bought it (50% off with friends and family discount) which definitely helps as i was 15 at the time. And with falling asleep in them, i'd say i sleep in mine 6 days of the week.

Did you get a Mod Pod? I think I might got checkout the Love Sacs and see how they differ. The Mod Pods are real comfortable but they use Black Faux Fur instead of real velvet so I think that is wear the price difference comes in. It says it uses premium shredded furniture foam like the love sac. I purchased mine from costco.

Wow the cuddlebag is kinda pricey. Has anyone bought any of the ones shown on eBay with the microfiber material?
I will be the voice of descent here.
I had a love sac for about 6 months and thought it was the most uncomfortable thing ever, unless you constantly fluff it. And getting in and out of it, and be a bit of a pain.
I sold mine, for almost what I paid for it, so I guess that is something good to say.

Like I stated earlier, there are a ton of different ones out there and you do somewhat get what you pay for. Don't think for a second you can get a budget one to match a lovesac. The COVERS for the lovesacs are $350 retail. Thicker, softer, better. Still, for $150 I was thrilled with the one I got.
Just look out for:
"Filled with foam not hard beans or Styrofoam"
"We use GENEROUS amounts of FINELY (this is huge) shredded Durafoam"
You want shredded furniture cushion. Beware the word foam, it can mean a lot of things.
I suggest looking on eBay. They are nearly impossible to ship once they have been opened and you should be able to find a great deal if it is for local pick up.
So they are bean bag chairs?
