Just bought a new Toshiba Regza 32HL67. Sales person talked us into buying the extended warranty. Wondering if any of you have purchased the extended warranty for your LCD televisions- would you recommend our keeping this? We have 30 to cancel if we wish.

ex warranties can be fine but usually stores like best buy, circuit city and many others use them as super high margin add on sales.

tape works texas.com has some great deals for avs forum members on ex warranties. for your lcd it should be about $120-130 for a mack 3 yr add on warranty. that adds three full years to your regular toshiba warranty.

you just need to buy it from them within 30 days of your original purchase.
