I have owned my Denon 2910 for a while and I finally decided to see what was so great about SACD's. The problem is that I put the SACD in and it won't play. I doesn't make a sound or even static. This model is supposed to play them also. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Specifically, how the player is connected and so on.

Unless the player is connected to the receiver via the analogue outputs or HDMI, you may not get SACD output from the player. - Reinhart

I have it connected to the receiver using an optical. My receiver doesn't have hdmi, so I will try the analogue outputs tonight.

I put my Audio Art IC-3 interconnect cables on and Billie Holiday graced my living room. Thanks Reinhart.
