I don't usually post this stuff .. I leave up to the customer..but ...
When pictures are available, I'll post them. This is not a Bridge of the Enterprise look alike ... it IS the bridge (yup, the real stuff, bridge chairs and all) from the set. Fun project. Basically, the only thing not original in the room is the Runco CRT, the Stewart Screen and the StarDome.
This ought to be good. Can't wait to see how it compares to the current de facto standard for Star Trek Themed theaters... The Bridge Home Theater

Somehow, I bet you're going to give him a run for his money, Dennis.

Sounds cool. Love to see some closeups of the "electronics" if they got them. There were some reports of the props guys having some fun (rubber duckies as indicators, etc.) when they made them up.

I saw some of the original props from Next Gen in a museum in CA one time. They put all sorts of things like that in there that you cant see from a distance on film. They even had a mouse running in a wheel where the engine room was supposed to be on the ship schematic.

Hmmm. Maybe what I heard was referring to TNG not TOS.
Did props guys have a sense of humor in the 60's? :)
