What setup do you currently/plan to have? Are you running surround sound? Do you use an external tuner? What are you lighting conditions? Are you planning on wall mounting the PDP?

Please provide more details on your setup. Without more details it is hard to make a recommendation.

Thanks...............more information is required. The room is about 16' wide by 30' long, cathedral ceiling, with one end having 2 double openings with no doors. Viewing will be about 14-15' away with the unit on the wall. ' Not a great room, buts thats where its going. I will use surround sound, and I have hi def dishnetwork satellite receiver. These are the 3 units I'm thinking about.
Help............with my decision will be greatly appreciated

at that distance your not seeing 1080p but you will enjoy the much larger size of the 65 incher, so get the biggest one. the th65px600u. even sam's club just started listing it for sell online at a decent price. costco also had it but looks like their out of stock as it has been taken off the site, they should add it back when more stock comes in, or check with some of the forum sponsors like Cleveland Plasma for your purchase.

if you go smaller the th58px600u, th58px700u (coming end of april) and the pioneer 6070 would all make good choices and save alot of money over the big panny.

At your distance, the bigger the better. In fact, you should really think seriously about a nice 1080p Front Projector system.

Wow, this is twice in 5 minutes I've agreed with someone about considering a front projector. If I had your room I'd be drooling over the JVC DLA-HD1 or the Sony Pearl.

Front projection is not a possibility. How does the 65" Panny compare in PQ to the Elite 1540. I guess its between those 2.

At 14-15', you will see no difference in PQ resolution wise. You decision lies with question of paying around 2K more for 5" or not.

the 65" has a 18% larger screen area size and that will make a big difference in your viewing experience. and since it should be well in your budget it would be great to get it ISF calibrated so your really getting the best PQ you can.
