Can any owners confirm if it plays DVD+Rs and DVD-ROMs?

I plan to use my Sony KDS50A2000's remote to control the 981. Anyone know the OPPO 981 manufacturer's code so I can accomplish this?

Yes, I have used a variety of +R (and -R) and +R RW and DL. Never tried ROM.
