i have a powermac g5 that i use as my main computer as well as using it to show front row on my tv. i am using the front row enabler. currently, the computer monitor is hooked up to the first output of the graphics card. and i have the apple dvi to svideo adapter connected to the second output of the video card and then an s-video cable from there to the tv. my problem is that once i go into front row mode to watch something on the tv, (with mirroring turned on) i get it in both displays. is there a way to have only the 2nd display show front row, while the first display runs something else?

Then adjust your settings displays tabs to have it like you want.

Currently, Front Row shows up on the monitor with the menu bar as DVD Player did years ago. This will probably be fixed in Leopard, but I don't have any inside knowledge. EyeTV has a secret preference for accomplishing this with their full screen interface so eventually I think Front Row will do the same.

I believer that when front row is on the second display (tv), the laptop's display goes dark.
