View Full Version : Middle Atlantic custom rackshelf fit issues with Toshiba HD-XA2

I just received my Middle Atlantic custom rack shelf today. These are laser cut flush mounting faceplate and shelves that are popular amongst customer installers and do-it yourselfers.

Needless to say it doesn't seem to fit very well, as compared to shelves I've purchased for my other components. The HD-XA2 has a front door that folds down to reveal additional controls and two USB ports. With the unit installed all the way forward the door barely opens and is pinched by the opening. If I pull the unit way back it allows the door to open but defeats the purpose (or look) of a flush mounted panel.

Anyone else out there purchase a Middle Atlantic custom rack shelf for their HD-XA2 and if so how did it fit and allow operation?

Thanks,
