guidedog 03-23-07, 08:45 PM Florida/ Butler looks great!
WWJ-DT CBS Detroit via Comcast, looks very good. As with last night, some interlace artifacts are seen.
tonyd79 03-23-07, 09:09 PM Now, this is what I am talking about. HD all the time. And very nice HD.
Overall, I can tell a slight difference between MMM HD and OTA (WJZ Baltimore) but some of the pictures on MMM HD have been stunning.
It appears that the venue lighting is playing a bigger part than the transmission.
(Some swimming court in St Louis on both.)
chiplatham 03-23-07, 09:13 PM i am getting real bad flickering up top on the fl / butler game on directv cbs channel. the worse i have seen all tournament. hmm.

Noticed the same thing on WISH-Indianapolis. It only happened on that one camera. Did not see it on Vandy-Georgetown. I think it was a CBS issue not local. Hope they fix it for UNLV-Oregon.
ChrisHman 03-23-07, 09:56 PM Comcast Atlanta with 1 subchannel running the other game. Looks solid considering we are multicasting. But lord James Brown's play by play is awful. Shame on CBS for replacing Gus Johnson with JB for regionals.
Had same Flickering problem for Butler-Fla. game in Charlotte as well . It was on Direct and OTA as well. must be a wbtv issue..
taybuch 03-23-07, 10:06 PM I'm getting the same flickering at the top of the screen when the shot clock is shown on the Oregon /UNLV game.
The Florida game earlier tonight had the same issue.
Watching OTA from KCTV in Kansas City.
Watching USC/UNC game. It looks great on WWJ thru Comcast here in Detroit.
I have never been a fan of CBS putting their robo cameras behind the backboard rather then on top of the shot clock like most other broadcasters. Tonight is even more annoying as the behind the backboard robos are off center on the backboard.
rkunces 03-24-07, 12:23 AM BS by MMM and CBS for screwing everyone out of HD for the last 10 minutes of the Oregon/UNLV game.
Watching OTA out of Richmond - WTVR.
Every game I’ve watched, at some point I get a slight blur and instantly it’s gone. It only happens for a split second and it’s only during the NCAA tournament. This happens maybe twice a game, and I’ve yet to see anyone else locally or nationally mention this. You can’t miss it it’s so apparent. Nothing critical, I was curious if anyone else was noticing it.

sd72667 03-24-07, 02:15 PM Florida and Butler looked great. Very life like. Of course I was there live in St. Louis to watch it. :D
