I have been researching the 73" Mitsubishi sets online. Can anyone tell me what the real differences are between the WD-73831 ("Diamond series") and the WD-73732 ?

The only thing I could see different from the Mitsu website was an additional IEEE 1394 port and an additional "simple" remote.

The price difference seems too large for those two small things.

Can anyone tell me the real differences in the models?

The cabinet on the 831 is glossy (piano) black, and supposedly the screen is a bit better, but I have read conflicting accounts on that.

I have the 73732 and love it, I compared it to the 831 and didn't see the much of a difference, if any.

vanns .com has a great price on the mits 73732 with a nice harmony remote free and free ground shipping delivered. i dont think the 73831 is worth $1500 more.

anyone have the settings for the mitsubishi 73"
or did you guys just kept it with manufacturers settings?
