Unit is a refurb, out of warrantee. Severe rainbow effect in a kind of watery pattern. It began as an occasional, brief problem and quickly degraded into a constant issue that makes the TV unwatchable. I've been told perhaps it's the color wheel? Any input greatly appreciated.

Okay, I apparently can't post a picture being a new member. I can only describe it as a watery rainbow pattern, that covers everything. Not light shades, but sharp edged multi-colored patterns all over everything. Even what I assume would be solid colors seem covered in this pattern. Solid black areas are the only ones that seem basically unaffected.
