Hi
I have my HT room framed with a proscenium wall approx 10' wide. The depth behind the proscenium is 2'. My original plan was to go with SMX AT screen and place just the center channel and the sub behind the proscenium. Late in the game I've been convinced that a non-AT screen would perform better with my new Pearl projector and the size 115" diag 2.35 image I wanted to project. So a good portion of the proscenium will be covered by the screen, but I plan to have the area below the screen ( bottom of screen ~ 30" above floor ) covered with black speaker grill cloth or some other AT fabric ) and still allow placement of center channel speaker behind it and out of site. My question is - will placing the sub behind here still work ? And any acoustic treatments ?
Thanks,
Bill
