Hi sorry to sound thick but i have just purchased a new KS70R200 which is the sony 70inch TV here in Australia is this an XBR1 or XBR2 i cannot seem to find any reference as to which one this set is.

Richard, the US XBR-1 only came in 50' and 60" screen sizes, there was no 70" XBR-1.

The only 70" model sold in the US is the XBR-2. If your set is an LCOS (Sony calls it SXRD here) based set with a 70" screen size and removable side speakers it's most likely the Aussie version of our XBR-2.
