I've noticed that intermittently, turning on my 60XBR1 SXRD HDTV turns on my PS3, as well. I hit power to my HDTV and as it turns on, I hear the beep from the PS3.

I have CableCARD so there is nothing else to turn on. My PS3 is not even directly connected to the SXRD. I have PS3 connected to Denon 4306 via HDMI and my Denon is connected to my SXRD via HDMI. The real part frying my noodle is that the Denon is in standby when this happens.

Anyone else experience anything like this? :confused:

That's definitely odd! I have an SXRD too, the 60A2000. Are you using a Harmony remote to turn on the television? The only thing I can think of is you managed to find a frequency similar enough to the BT remote that it comes on with the set....odd.

My 70" XBR2 doesn't turn on my PS3.
