Sorry for the title but I really need an answer fast and this is the most attention grabbing title I could come up with :p . Anyway here is my question I was thinking of importing a PS3 and was wondering if I could go online in the PAL region using a NTSC system, I have no problems with my US 360 but want to make sure with the PS3 before I spend $600. Thanks for the help :D .

You could go online with a US system. The online service is tied to the address you sign up with, and not the region the system was purchased from.
For firmware updates, you'd probably want to create a 2nd account with a US address, so the system gets updated properly.
Folks regularly here have a US, UK, Hong Kong, and Japanese account, so we can have access to the freebies across the PSN. :D

If you could show how you setup a UK and Japanese account that would be great.
Thanks.

I don't think it matters if the address is fake or not.
But if it matters to YOU ;) then you can just Google it. Find an obscure company in the region you want to register, then use their address and phone number. :D :D
