Ok basically, what Im looking for is a cradel that will recharge my battery and hold the controller but doesnt connect to the xbox...just uses an outlet. Anything like that out there?

My controllers and screen are not in the same room as the xbox so if the cradle had to attach to the xbox it would have to go pretty far....but lets just say I have no choice but to do that. In that case can I just get a cable extener to reach the xbox AND still play wireless even when the cradle is still plugged in?

Thanks

I looked and have not found any just plain cradles that charge.

There is a recharging cradle for use with rechargeable battery packs, the controller does not sit on the cradle and the cradle does not attach to the Xbox. Rechargeable battery packs are used in place of regular batteries. You can purchase extra battery packs. It works very well. I bought ours at Best Buy.

Can you plug the "Play and charge" kit into a powered USB Hub and have it recharge?
