I bought the DVD version Digital Leisure released many years ago when dvd first came out. (the set top box version - not pc),

what a piece of crap.

I love dragons lair.

But they did it wrong then - and I hope they have corrected it now. In that version - if you made the RIGHT move - the game would have to pause for a second and load the next bit to continue on. It was so ass-backwards.

it should be that it plays through until you make the wrong move - then it loads the death scene. some scenes you have to make like 5 or more moves - and it had to load every time for a split second to conitune...

either way i will buy this version.. I just hope there are no in game loading issues...

Space Ace and Dragon Lair 2 are comming out by end of year...It all remastered in 1080p with no pauses, or loading issues...

Does anyone remember Cliff Hanger. I spent many hours in the arcade with this one. Great game.

You guys might want to check out this, (http://www.daphne-emu.com/site3/index_hi.php) which even though is an emulator, it is officially sanctioned by Digital Leisure, which owns the rights to Dragon's Lair, DL2, and Space Ace... so it's totally legal.

btw mixxxer, that problem might be a limitation of the DVD player you were on. If you have the official Digital Leisure disk, download the 1.0 beta of "Daphne", linked above, for an accurate Arcade experience.

That seems a little low as to what I was guessing it would cost. $24.99 would be nice (of course here it would be around $29.99) but I am expecting more than that.

Yeah, because looks like MSRP on this is $49.99.

The best of all the laserdisc games was that one Cobra Command or something, basically it was the most "active" of all the games, which involved you blowing up Anime tanks, blowing up Anime Helicopters, etc......

Ever play Esh's Aurunmilla? Some of the worst voice-overs and music I have ever heard. :D ...and I've heard plenty of bad voice acting.
