I suscribe to Starz, so I get all the On-Demand content. Only Starz and Encore (older movies) have a HD section in the On-Demand.

Well...looks like Comcast has done it again: given me my 99th reason to cancel them. It appears they have dropped the HD Starz movies in On-Demand.

Has anyone else in the Chicagoland area noticed this?

on the phone with Comcast, and they're no help. According to the lady, she sees it on her TV. Both my HD and HD-DVR units do not show it on the On-Demand menu.

So, who knows. All I know is that I loathe Comcast. I wish their was an alternative cable company.

The onyl way I've ever gotten long term results from Comcast Support is via emails. It usually takes a week or constant hounding and immediately replying to a message, but it works.

The CSRs over the phone are only good for sending new signals to the box and trying to sell me services that are not availbe in my area.

I don't know how it is in the city, but here we've always had Showtime and Encore in the HD movies on demand section. They're still here. I don't recall Starz having a section there, but I don't use VOD that much so my memory is a bit fuzzy.

I could have SWORN i had Stars HD before today. But you're right... it's gone here too. After the STELLAR (NOT!) service i received last night when i lost Sci-Fi and about 20 other channels, i don't expect any real answers from "customer service" (that's kind of an ironic name for what their phone people do).
