I keep expecting a post from the guys at SVS about pricing or pre-order dates. I thought somebody might have heard something other than the .pdf.

I ordered a Velodyne SMS-1 just for the upcoming SVS Ultra. so I'm hoping release is sooner rather than later.

while waiting for the new Ultra, I'll be using the SMS-1 to play with my other subs.

They are definitely behind schedule. I suspect the pre-order phase for at least the PCUs will happen very soon!

Oh yes...>I also have the strange subwoofer disorder.

Symptoms include:
-- need for couch shaking bass
-- need for 120db of bass and no less
-- need to reach at least 16hz and not give up a db at 80hz

I'm not considering duals.

It is 100% going to happen :) Just have to wait to accumulate the funds and then I'm pulling the trigger. (Just stinks I have some other house projects that have to come first which will delay the fund acculumation a little bit.)

It's pretty obvious by now that both SVS and AV123 are behind schedule with their new subs and whomever gets there first will probably take a bite out of the other's initial sales

I would imagine that HSU is getting some that action right now also, although without premium finishes there will always be a market they won't penetrate
