Hey everybody, been reading a lot, and this is my first post. Just getting in to HD DVD, and decided to post.
Went to pick up children of men, happy feet and march of the penguins today on HD DVD (took target print outs to best buy), and I went to look at the blu ray versions of happy feet (BD-25) and march of the penguins (BD-50), and noticed, they both only had a dolby track. While HD DVD had trueHD and dolby plus on happy feet and dolby plus on march of the penguins.
Is it just me, or is WB favoring HD DVD a little with these releases? I remember the departed, had a pcm track for blu ray, maybe happy feet isn't as big of a release, but I would think they would try to bring out similar audio tracks. Anyways, I think this shows that 30 gigs is enough space for these releases.
Just me or did anybody else notice this too?

Not to be rude kenshin.... but you haven't read enough here yet. All of your questions have been debated ad-nauseum the last few weeks. A simple search will reveal more than you ever wanted to know. :)

There's honestly no telling why WB didn't give Happy Feet a lossless track, but the reason there's a DD+ track on Marh of the Penguins is because it's mandated by Toshiba. Every HD DVD title has to feature at least a DD+ track. Blu-ray has no such rule.
