Has anyone had any luck getting the V880 to do a custom DVI resolution with 24Hz refresh?

I have tried both the 48Hz and the 72Hz but the Sony Pearl keeps reading it as 800x600?

How customizable is the DVI output? Can it work with a digital display or is it strickly for CRT?

I managed to get the V880N to output 1080i @48Hz refresh to the Sony Pearl which should give the 96Hz output from the Pearl for smooth SD-DVD playback.

Now if I can just figure out how to get it to do the vertical stretch I would be set!

Anyone know how to do that with the V880N?
