I tried logging into my xbox to play some gears tonight and I got a message that it couldnt connect. I can connect ot the net (im posting this). I did hte test connection and it says that my MTU setting needto be verified........first off can anyone tell me what the hell that is??????? And how do i go about fixing it? It also says to look at you instruction manula for the router........uh thats long gone. ANy suggestions?????????? Please help me. Im going througg gears wihdrawl

xbox live is down for some kind of maintenance. i thought it was going to be back up by 5 ET today, but it apparently isn't.

It has been down all day. It was supposed to be back up at 5:00pm EST but it is taking longer than expected. Major Nelson reported about 30 minutes ago that it should be up soon.

Please tell me thats the smae thing everyone is getting, i wouldnt be able to handle a night without xbox

Take a deep breath and drop the controller!! It is not back up yet.
I just spent 10 minutes on hold w/ Lynksys to find out about my MTU. :o
