Play.com is taking pre-orders for all of the titles. Amazon UK has only Brotherhood of the Wolf up for pre-order as of yesterday. I just ordered First Blood through Amazon on Blu-ray (it was a gold box selection) but I think I am going to return it or exchange it at a local store and say it was a gift. I just love the cover designs on the UK versions from Momentum.

I have the BD version and it looks very good. I've heard the HD DVD versions don't. Also I can't remember if this title has the pitch issue, but Basic Instinct, Total Recall and The Elephant Man do.

I got the 76' King Kong last winter. It has a different cover art. It's better than the standard disc but that's not saying much. There is a site that has King Kong already do a search. I think it's exploiteddvd or something like that.

i'm not a big fan of uk cover art...they always ruin it with those round and bright rating icons. although sometimes the actual art is better, those icons ruin it for me.

I want to buy all Rambo movies on HD DVD but not with the pitch issues (why I got rid of them before).

Amir says the french discs are the exact same as the UK discs, so until we hear differently it's safe to assume they still have the pitch issue.

Nice cover art. Although I'm not too big on the extra thick cases they come in.

Hey Big Ed.... I don't have any info on which cut appears on the disc. I hope the HD DVD version is porting over most of the extras found on the 3 Disc set. this movie was one of those overlooked gems that I discovered thanks to other online movie fanatics.

Just checked out a review, Film Freak Central; the Canuck does have French DTS, however this reviewer gave the nod to the Universal for PQ.

Does anyone know if the AmazonUK site honors the 10% off that I would normally get from Amazon US?

I pre-ordered BotW but is that really what its going to look like? Where is the red case? Its not going to match the rest of my HD DVDs. I would get the French version but since I was already getting La Haine Botw is only $22 more.
