View Full Version : MLB 2K7 > Halo 3 - Am I Crazy?
I am about to trade in 4 games (Saints Row, Amped 3, GRAW, and PGR3) to my local video rental store for any game up to 69.99.
I originally intended to get the Halo 3 pre-order, but the back of my mind tells me to get MLB 2K7, which I played the demo for and really like.
Right now I am leaning towards MLB 2K7 over Halo 3, am I nuts?

Krieger119 03-29-07, 03:01 PM personally, I don't care for either.
BrianEK 03-29-07, 03:23 PM I'd go for MLB 2k7 if you are a baseball fan. I loved the demo on xbla and the graphics and tv presentation are the best in the biz. I will be picking up this game tomorrow. Mine as well play now rather than using the money to get a game not coming out for the next 8 months
talbain 03-29-07, 03:23 PM why do you need to make that kind of either/or decision? mlb is out right now, and it's march. halo 3 won't be out until september-november. what's the problem? do you only buy 1 game a year?

Probably. Because you find it necessary to seek others approval to know that it's "okay" for you to like what you like.
So here it is:
You're allowed to like whatever games you enjoy.
Does that help?
Get 2k7 now, its good baseball game. Make some slider adjustments in game and you should get a pretty good simulation. Online has been smooth too even though i cant win to save my life. Halo 3 can be a holiday gift for me.
Ikari Warrior 03-29-07, 03:52 PM MLB looks great, but plays ok, especially with friends. The fielding is pretty poor with only one camera angle. The pitcher/batter interface is really good, but unfortunately the game is a homer-fest, even with tweaking the sliders, especially if you play with a friend. The last game I played on Legacy difficulty with Power at 10, my friend and I had 17 home runs total. 17!
The game has alot of potential, and can charm you with it's looks into forgiving it's many flaws, but it's decent and I look forward to next year's version.

Sounds like a lot of fat pitches.
You have to change quite a few more sliders than just power to tame homers, anyway.

No kidding. Get both, and get the one thats out now.
I love this year's MLB game. Its great.
NO.....you should follow your heart and put all of your hard-earned cash down on a copy of halo 3! Do not buy another game until halo 3 is released. OKAY!!
How can people say Halo 3 is bad when its not even out? lol
