I am in the market for a DVD recorder VHS combo machine and my Panny DMR ES30VS has just died on me. Is there a difference between these 2 (DMRES45VS or DMRES35VS) also, which one of these machines is the better one for me or should I be looking at a different brand all together? I want to be able to record on dvd from my HD direct TV and then place my recordings on my PC. The HD DVD burners seem to be too expensive and hard to find. Please assist, all thoughts appreciated.
